Ragni Piene is professor at the CMA - Centre of Mathematics for Applications, University of Oslo, Norway.

Prof. Piene has been actively collaborating with professor Raquel Malllavibarrena at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain.

About his work:

"The research topics in which I am interested are:
  • Proyective algebraic geometry, specially the oscultatory properties of scrolls
  • enumerative geometry and singularity theory
  • real algebraic geometry, with applications to geometric modeling"
